As we approach the halfway point of what has been a fascinating season, Max Verstappen and Red Bull have a firm hand in both the drivers’ and constructors’ championships. The famous Silverstone has undergone some design changes over the years but despite this it remains one of the fastest tracks on the circuit and is a favorite with fans and drivers alike.

Heading into the race, Max Verstappen is the one to beat. Verstappen and Red Bull will feel like they have scores to settle here at Silverstone after last year’s drama, which ended with Max in hospital and Lewis Hamilton above the podium. I doubt a competitor like Verstappen would need any extra incentive when it comes to race day, but if he needs it, it’s there.

I really can’t see the battle between Hamilton and Verstappen being so close this year due to the huge difference in cars, but I’d be foolish to write Hamilton off entirely here at Silverstone. I think that seems like a good price for a place on the podium.

Charles Leclerc now he has six races without a win. More often than not, however, Leclerc has put the team in an advantageous position on race day by qualifying on pole. This year, Leclerc has qualified six times out of nine possible races at the front of the grid.

The problem is that this has only resulted in two race wins, a very low conversion rate. Unfortunately for Leclerc, I don’t think this weekend will be much different. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Leclerc qualify on pole, but max verstappen to continue his dominance and win on Sunday.

Finally, I will choose the same multiple podium using the Points Finish market. I will go with George Russell, Fernando Alonso, Esteban Ocon, Sebastian Vettel, Valterri Bottas Y lando norris everything to finish in the points.

so far this season russell has been Mr. Consistent. He has finished in the top five in every race so far and, barring any mechanical errors, I see no reason why he should not score points here at Silverstone. He is my banker in this acca. Joining him are his Alpine teammates. Alonso Y Or with. Their superior straight line speed among the ‘best of the rest’ category has meant they have closed the gap to McLaren in the hunt for fourth place.

The team’s performance in Canada meant they scored consecutive double points for the first time this season, although Alonso won’t need to be reminded of his missed opportunity. With the speed of the track at Silverstone, I think Alpine will perform well again, further closing the gap to McLaren.

Speaking of McLaren, ever since norris‘podium finish at Imola has been quite a tough ride. But Lando has a good record here at Silverstone and, in his opinion, finishing in the points should be the bare minimum in front of his home crowd.

boots Y Vettel They top off this acca like the last two picks. Bottas has proven to be a very smart signing from Alpha Romeo, he has been able to score points regularly and challenge the top six. Vettel’s season has been less consistent and he is in a car in which his partner Lance Stroll is really struggling. However, what both drivers have in common is their experience. Bottas will look to the top six here again this week and Vettel will look to sneak into the points.

Charles Leclerc Winner of the general classification
