The flamboyant speedster now offers 830 horsepower.

When it comes to the tuning scene, we can’t think of a more controversial aftermarket specialist than Mansory. He has some of the most extravagant builds in the business, catering to a specific audience looking for eccentric design. We’d say the Ferrari Monza SP2 is a flamboyant speedster from the start, and yet one owner decided to give it a makeover that includes red exhaust tips among other details.

The homeless Italian stallion points to a new Mansory Bespoke program designed for exclusive cars built in limited numbers. Ferrari manufactured only 499 units of the Monza SP1 and SP2, this being the most “practical” car as it has a passenger seat. For this project, the tuner combined a Rosso Corsa main color with a black stripe and exposed carbon fiber parts as part of an aerodynamic package.

The client wanted to have an asymmetrical design and requested Mansory paint the driver’s side buttress black. The seat itself is also black, complete with striking red seat belts. Those red accents have been used in the oddest of places, like on the two carbon fiber side mirror cover fins, as well as the front air intakes and rear diffuser.

Gone are the OEM wheels, as the tuner opted for its own lightweight forged set measuring 21 inches up front and 22 inches in the rear with 275/30 ZR21 and 335/25 ZR22 tires, respectively. Those in the rear get the increased power from the V12 when Mansory upgraded the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter unit. It now produces a colossal 830 hp and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) after installing a new exhaust system and upgraded air intake.

It goes without saying that the custom project can also be easily adapted for the single-seater. Monza SP1 as it is essentially the same car but with a side panel that covers where you would find the passenger seat in the SP2. With the Mansory Bespoke program, the tuner says that the sky is the limit when it comes to customizing your limited run car, as there are virtually endless customization possibilities.
