It’s easy to lose the rear of your car when accelerating into a corner and having enough rear downforce to prevent this on tracks like Monaco and the Marina Bay street circuit is a big part of getting it done in one piece.

Choose your assists well

Making the most of your assist selection in F1 22 gameplay is nothing to be ashamed of, but it’s important to make sure you pick the right assists, and if you’re looking to improve, avoid using assists that you rely on too much.

This is why we recommend completely disabling the steering and braking assists. Traction control assist and anti-lock brakes are worth making use of, but finding the racing line yourself is always satisfying.
